Unplugging into the Sound/Silence of Oneness

Our Day 3 Exercise taps into a major growing hunger to take time outs from our over plugged in often polarized society. I was just reading Tuesday's (Sept 8) Boston Globe Metro Section an article entitled "Being young, here, now" about the growing attraction for 18-32 year olds for mindfulness meditation and unplugged up close personal experiences. I personally find unplugged silent time a key ingredient both to connect with my higher self and to connect on an authentic level with others. This is the truth we can connect with from Anakha and James' teachings and I would also witness that we can learn from observing the living legacy of Ted Kennedy to move beyond ego to connecting (even with our political adversaries and even on health insurance policy)with the G!Dly deeply human in ourselves (and the vulnerability and preciousness of our lives and our families) and in others (and what's really important for them).
